How to Replace Header Templates On Blogger

Your blog looks so unique or different from the others. So you have to change the look of your blog. There are many ways to do it. For example by replacing the template created by third parties, but on average there are templates that use it. Unless you create a template yourself but this takes a very long time and not easy to make a good template. So one of the easiest ways is to replace and effective in the template header.

Header is the most important element in a template for every visitor who comes to your blog first to see the header. So change the header is the most appropriate way.

Header does not have to be a picture. You can also use the text as an important header looks unique and delicious. For those of you who want to use the pictures but could not make it. Do not worry. Because there are many websites that provide free header image so you just download it. Some websites have a pretty good header like: 100pixel.blogspot.com, freewebpageheaders.com, smashingmagazine.com, and much more.

In this post I will discuss about changing the header from freewebpageheaders.com. To download it, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to site http://freewebpagesheaders.com/gallery

2. To download the headers. You must have an account first. Click on register

3. Click Agree. Then you will be asked to fill in Registration form. This form consists of 2 parts, namely: Required and Optional info info.
Required info is the info you need to provide for the registration and the Optional info info is used to display your data to the visitors when you login. If you feel you do not have it ignored for this section

4. Then click Submit Registration Form. If you have will get a message like this.

5. Open the email you used to register. Click on the link provided to activate your account.

6. If you have, you will get a message that your account has been activated.

7. click the Return to the front page of free Web Page Headers.

8. Then click Login to download the image header.

9. Select a category header that you want. If you've found a suitable image. Click on the image and click Download.

10. Then the picture will open in a new page. Right click on the image and select Save Image As and press Save.

11. Done. Now the image is stored on your computer

The next step you have to do is find out what size headers on your template so that at the time your install fit with your template header. How:

1. Click the Layout-> Edit HTML.

2. Find the code # header-wrapper. So easy to find, press Ctrl + F type header-wrapper and press Next.

3. If you've met there is usually a code width and height around it. For example # header-wrapper (background: url) no-repeat; width: 980px; height: 100px;
Is the length width and height header is the header wide. Resize means you must be a 980x100 pixel image. You can use image processing programs such as Ms Paint, ACD See, photoshop for resize it.

4. Having completed. Go to Blogger, go to Layout-> Page Elements.

5. Click Edit on the Header.


6. Then a new page will appear.


7. Select Browse from your computer if the computer stored image or Browse from the web if the image is stored on image hosting such as: ImageShack, Photobucket, and Geocities.

8. On the Placement. Select Behind title and description if you want to clear the picture behind the blog title and description or select Instead of title and description if you want to cover the blog title and description.

9. Then click Save. Click on View Blog to see the results.

Note:
Not all templates can be installed image. Some use text-only. So choose the template as needed.

How to Backup Template, Widget, and Article

A template is a pattern of the website is designed to display the articles, news, information, and others. So all activities blog / website template is stored in.

Therefore, we must treat us well template so that does not happen the things we do not want such as coding errors, blogs get deleted or banned by Google. One way to deal with the backup template.

There have been many bloggers whose blogs get banned for no apparent reason. Therefore, backuplah your template before too late.

2nd there is a way to back up the template:

The first way:

1. Log in to Blogger. Click Layout -> Edit HTML
2. Click on Download Full Template. Select Save File and press OK
3. Done. Now your template is stored on your computer

To restore back. HTML on the Edit menu, click browse and locate the template you want the restore. Click Upload. If there appears to confirm "Widgets are about to be deleted". Click Confirm & Save and then click View Blog to see the results.

Second way:

1. On the Edit menu HTML. Click the "Expand Widget Templates"
2. Copy all template code by pressing Ctrl + A then press Ctrl + C
3. Open the Notepad program and paste all the code into notepad by pressing Ctrl + V
4. Done. Do not forget to save to notepad

Note: The above is only a way to backup the template. To backup articles and widgets such as shoutbox, clocks, dictionaries, and others. Please follow the steps below.


How to backup widgets:

1. Click Layout -> Page Elements
2. Click Edit on the widgets you install
3. Copy the entire code and paste it into notepad
4. Done

How to backup the posting / article:

How to Manual:

1. Log in to Blogger. Click the Post menu -> Edit Posts
2. Click Edit on the article that would backed up
3. In Compose mode, copy and paste the article into Ms Office or Open Office
4. Done

How to Auto:

1. Click the Settings menu -> Email
2. Fill in your email address in the box "BlogSend Address" as the example below:


We recommend that you fill your email address more than one. E-mail address so that one got banned or got hacked the other is still there.

3. Then click Save Settings.
4. Done. Now every time you post a new article then the article will be automatically sent to your email address. For example you can see in the image below:

Articles sent to my yahoo email address.


That the article sent to my Google email address. Articles sent to the email Google will not display the image posting. To display them, you must click on the link below or the image Display Always display images from ... if you want to keep posting the following image display.

2. Backup your template first before installing the new template so you can return again if there was an error in the new template. Do I click on Download Full Template select Save File and press OK.

3. After the backup is complete. Click Browse, find the template you want installed and click Upload. If there appears to confirm "Widgets are about to be deleted". That means the widgets are installed on the old template will be deleted. Well to make sure that this is first installed widgets that important or not important if backup first the widgets before you replace the new template. 4. If so, click the Confirm & Save and then click View Blog to see the results.

How to Post Article On Blogger

Once you have a blog in blogger. The next step you have to do is post the article.

Now for the post. It's so easy. Please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to Blogger with your id.

2. In the Dashboard menu. Click New Post.

3. After that, you'll go to the post box. Here there are 2 pages of posts Edit HTML and Compose. Edit HTML page is the page where the article is the HTML code. And Compose page is a page for writing articles.

4. So click the Compose menu to post the article.


5. On the Compose menu there are several tools that are often used to post.

: Changing the form of letters


: Changing the text size


: Thick letters


: Tilted letter


: Changing the text color


: Adding a link to a website


: Align left


: Align center


: Align right


: Align full


: Massage based on numerical text


: Massage text with bullet


: Creating a blockquote


: Check Spelling


: Adding images into the article. Acceptable formats (jpg, gif, bmp, png)


: Adding video into the article. Acceptable formats (avi, 3gp, rm, wmv)


: Eliminate the effects on text


6. Give the title of the article in the Title box.

7. Then write your article content on posting box.

8. If so, give the labels or categories for your article on the box labels for this post. As an example I give labels to these articles with "Basic blogger, Blogger Tutorial".

9. If so, click Preview to see whether the pre appearance was good or not.

10. If so, click Publish Post to post them.

11. Then click (in a new window) to see the results of your posts on the new page.

12. If you feel there is still lack on your postings. Click Edit post on the main page to edit. If you are finished click Publish to publish post again and again.
